The Crew:
Kelsey (Loins Haversham), was a literal fairy child who came into existence when her parents forgot to set out their daily offering of bread and goat's milk. Kelsey likes books and art, and has been to Burning Man once.
Kat (Thrusty McGee) hatched in a cave down by the river. Once she developed eyes and grew out of her shell (literally), she began traveling the world in search of her true name. Kat writes, makes art, and collects anachronistic hobbies.
Christa (Lovemeat McCumswaggle) discovered her love of writing when she was brought into the world by a crazed author who used dark magic to make his books reality. Christa is an avid writer and knitter, and likes watching hockey.
Autumn (Tits Von Fappington) is the product of an extremely acrobatic tryst between Cher and Isaac Newton when the latter found a time machine in a swap meet. Autumn loves reading and gets a full-body workout by pole dancing.
Our Humble Origins
We began as a group of friends who liked reading and discussing silly books.
We're still a group of friends who like reading and discussing silly books, but now we're thrusting ourselves out into the great unknown, putting our voices and our inappropriate senses of humor where everyone can hear.
Galloping Abs?!?
But what the actual heck, you might be saying. Why 'Galloping Abs?' Abs can do no such things.
True, we say in response, we haven't ever seen this phenomenon except in the most excellent illustration by Loins Haversham that is our esteemed logo.
The moniker derives from a Tumblr post. Some unknown genius took a terrible excerpt from a cheesy romance novel and wove paragraph upon paragraph of pure, parodic beauty, culminating with the words "galloping abs."
